Meet the Fleet - Amber Charles
Amber joined the Mattex team in May of 2021 as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). Amber joined Mattex with experience in customer relations at Carle Foundation Hospital and has hit the ground running by providing exceptional attention and care to our existing and new customers.
We sat down with Amber to learn more about what motivates her both inside and outside of the office.
What brought you to Mattex?
My friends recommended it. They sang praises about the great teamwork and primary goal to satisfy their customers, and that is what attracted me to Mattex.
What’s your favorite part of your job (so far)?
Being able to see the ins and out of the services being provided, as well as a truly great customer satisfaction guarantee. You’re able to see that 100% customer satisfaction on every call is something important to the whole team.
How would you describe working for Mattex? What’s the workplace like in your eyes?
So far, I love seeing the teamwork. Everyone has a similar mentality of wanting to see the company thriving and customers added to the family.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
Café-hopping and hanging out with my friends and family.
What would you like to accomplish at work this year?
Being able to contribute to the growth of the customer database, customer satisfaction, as well as being proactive in teamwork.
What would you like to accomplish outside of work this year?
I am going back to school for a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
What’s a fun fact about you that no one would guess?
I like snowboarding!
