Mattex Purchases Mahomet Office Building

Mahomet, IL — Mattex Service Company announces the purchase of an office building at 307 East Oak Street in Mahomet, Illinois.
Mattex Service Company, founded in 1994, currently provides heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical services for residential and commercial properties from their business locations within Mattoon, Champaign and Monticello. Mattex was founded with the mission of “building loyal customers through excellent customer service”. Beginning in the fall of 2021, a portion of their office staff will now be housed in the Oak Street office in Mahomet.
“Mattex is continuing to grow rapidly as we serve our local community,” said Mike Nichelson, President and Owner of Mattex Service Company. “This new building will allow us to provide office space for several members of our team while giving us a storefront to serve our Mahomet community from. We are beyond excited to have a permanent presence in the Mahomet community this fall, and look forward to welcoming members of this community to our new office space.”
The East Oak Street office, located beside the Mahomet Police Department building, was the prior home of Pet Pro Veterinary and Grooming services. The building will be renovated over the next several months to transition the prior veterinary clinic into office spaces. Mattex will continue to utilize its existing Champaign office on Staley Road, Mattoon office on 21st Street, and storage facility on North Market Street in Monticello.

We’re excited to become permanent members of the Mahomet business community as we continue serving our residential and commercial customers.”

The renovations on the East Oak Street building are expected to be completed by October 1, 2021. Mattex’s Customer Service Representative team will be the first to begin utilizing the office this fall.
